From December 13-February 9 Dubai's Global Village is open in the evenings and showcases merchandise, entertainment, and food from around the world. Over 40 countries are represented with markets and stalls. The shopping was a mix of the Paris flea markets, Pier 1, and Mall of the Emirates. The people watching was the main entertainment!

A bagpipe parade from Scotland at the British Pavillion.
The Kuwait pavillion entertainment...clapping, chanting, and dancing men in robes.

Turkish tea vendors roamed the grounds selling cups of tea from these elaborate urns on their backs.

We had the Persian combo kabob--chicken, beef, and mystery meat...with rice and flat bread on the side. Washed down with Pepsi.

The Fun Fair had rides, games, and all the attractions of a typical state fair! We rode the ferris wheel to get a birds eye view.
